    Article usage

I occasionally place my images on my flickr account, under a ‘creative commons’ license – which means anyone can use the image as long as attribution is given. One of the benefits of using my given name in photography is that a google search pulls up references to my photos. The Beck photos were used a number of times by some media outlets, and since this is my first brush with the professional photography world, I wanted to save a few for posterity below. I’ve included a link to the original article (which may disappear over time) and a screen capture.

Truthdig (using my favorite photo from that day): News articleScreen capture

    Florida Independent: News articleScreen capture

The Atlantic Wire: News articleScreen capture

    Fox Houston: News articleScreen capture

This article showed up in a number of places:News article (Fox Phoenix) News article (Fox DC)  – Screen capture and some other Fox affiliates

Change.org used my reverse ‘restoring honor’ shot: News articleScreen capture

Firedoglake, a lefty blog I read from time-to-time: News articleScreen capture

While searching I also ran across this article, which uses one of my favorite photos of Peruvian schoolchildren, and this article with a Peruvian village.

Sorry for the self-indulgence, but I couldn’t resist! This exercise also reinforces that I need to publish – and appropriately tag! – more photos on flickr.
