After spending some time at Bombay Hook, I drove up to Conowingo Dam, which is prime bald eagle real estate. (I’ve been there before). The photos this time around were much better (I feel), mostly because I used my new tripod – Santa came early! – rather than a monopod which I used previously. Tripods make following the birds much easier. The eagles were playful, but not hungry, so it was a bit disappointing. Still, I love going up there, and will try again in January.
