From Chincoteague NWR, a few months back (the same weekend I camped at Assateague with the ponies). These snowy egrets were just off the side of the road, down an embankment. They let me get quite close. A bit fuzzy at times – my lens isn’t the sharpest… – and taken with -1/3 EV, as usual for the white birds.
